How do I calculate "Adjusted Age" for a premature baby?

To find the adjusted age, calculate the age from your baby's original due date, rather than their birth date. Why does the calculator say 1 month instead of 4 weeks?

A standard calendar month is roughly 4.3 weeks long, not exactly 4 weeks. If a baby is born on January 1st, they are 1 month old on February 1st (31 days). However, exactly 4 weeks after January 1st is January 29th (28 days). This is why a 6-month-old baby is roughly 26 weeks old, not 24 weeks old.
