Method
Uppercase and lowercase modes apply the component's Unicode-aware case conversion. Sentence and title modes detect word boundaries and punctuation, then capitalize selected characters. Preserve original text when names, acronyms, code, URLs, or non-English text need review.
Example
“the quick BROWN fox.” becomes “THE QUICK BROWN FOX” in uppercase, “the quick brown fox.” in lowercase, and “The quick brown fox.” in sentence case. Title-case treatment of short connecting words depends on the tool's rules.
Interpretation
Case conversion changes presentation, not grammar or meaning. It does not proofread spelling, expand acronyms, or understand brand capitalization.
